Multiple sclerosis affects the brain and spinal cord of 2.5 million peple worldwide. Early symptoms of multiple sclerosis include weakness, tingling, numbness, and blurred vision. If you plan to participate, remember to bring comfortable sneakers, an additional water bottle, sunscreen (last year the walk was in April but was the 95 degree day in late april and a lot of people were very sunburnt), sunglasses/hat and a camera.Please take a look around the website after you register.
There are prizes for individuals who raise a cerain amount of money and last year all walkers who raised at least $50 received an MS t-shirt. There is a $25 minimum donation for all walkers age 12 and older.If you need more information, contact Joey (josephholmes3 at hotmail dot com).
