Balanced Man Scholarship
In the fall term of each year, the Brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon award a scholarship to the male student deemed a ‘Balanced Man’. A balanced man strives to be healthy on a broad scale including academics, athletics, as well as the provision of community service. He strives to be a scholar, an athlete, and a gentleman. All of these are aspects contributing to the image promoted by Sigma Phi Epsilon.
We are offering one Balanced Man Scholarship in the amount of $1,000.00, which will be awarded to an incoming male student who has excelled in the development of a Sound Mind and a Sound Body during his high school career.

Sigma Phi Epsilon at Moravian College
The Pennsylvania Beta Alpha chapter of the Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity at Moravian College has much to offer its members and the college community. SigEp was introduced to Moravian College in 1998, and since then the chapter has blossomed to one of the premier student organizations on campus. Members in SigEp are involved in the student government, key players on many of Moravian’s sports teams, and involved in numerous organizations around campus.
The Pennsylvania Beta Alpha chapter has recently developed the ‘SigEp Scholar Lecture Series’, which promotes learning outside of the classroom, via lectures and educational presentations from professors and other external organizations. If you are interested in learning more about our fraternity please see our history page or check out the SigEp National Website, call (570) 574-7517, or email execs@sigeppaba.org.
