I was quite pleased with our alumni response and I hope that many of you would consider participating in the program too. Fifteen undergraduate brothers have expressed interest in speaking with a fellow alumnus to discuss the various career paths they can persue and the job/internship opportunities your company may offer. On Saturday March 20th, at 8 am – 3pm in PPHAC, Moravian will be hosting an event focused on Sound Body in the area of health called, Living Healthy, Well-thy, and Wise: Perspectives on Health Care in a Changing World.  This is huge for us Sigep’s in the fact that we all know we try and strive at the concept of Sound Mind and Sound Body! If that wasn’t enough to have our undergrad brother’s and alumni show up to our very own Brian Corvino is running the event. This event is open to EVERYBODY!!!! It is free for students and does not cost much at all for alumni, just to cover for the food.

This is a great opportunity and a great event that everyone should take time out of their schedule to attend.

Cost will be $100 dollars per golfer, which includes green fees, cart fees, lunch, open bar following golf play (for those who are 21) and possible specialty prizes. If you just want to come and hang out and spend time with the brothers, it will be $30 for the food.  All the information for this event can be found on the flyer created by the undergrad brothers of SPE along with the registration form.
Also If you are not able to participate on the selected dates, you can directly make a tax-deductible donation, checks can be made out to Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation, and delivered to the same address as above.  Sign up now by clicking the link under ‘Register Now’ in the sidebar.

The PABA chapter of Sigma Phi Epsilon had an award presentation at the beginning of the semester for the Ulysses Grant Dubach Scroll for academic achievement.  The award goes to the undergraduate with the highest improvement in cumulative GPA from semester to semester. This year’s winner is TJ Festa, a junior from Quakertown, PA.  The photograph above shows TJ with the VP of Member Development and chapter counselor Art Lyons.  Please see the attached slideshow from the presentation cermony which describes the award.

If you plan to participate, remember to bring comfortable sneakers, an additional water bottle, sunscreen (last year the walk was in April but was the 95 degree day in late april and a lot of people were very sunburnt), sunglasses/hat and a camera.Please take a look around the website after you register.

There are prizes for individuals who raise a cerain amount of money and last year all walkers who raised at least $50 received an MS t-shirt. There is a $25 minimum donation for all walkers age 12 and older.If you need more information, contact Joey (josephholmes3 at hotmail dot com).
