The AVC, in cooperation with the undergrads, has spent the last few months enhancing the SigEp PABA website. The new site is based on the Wordpress platform and it went live today around 11am. The new platform is more robust and has an active user community that has developed over 8,000 free plugins
This past weekend’s Officer Transition Retreat revealed the need for a continually-updated calendar on our website to help undergrads and alums coordinate their efforts. Want to add your pictures to our website’s photo galleries? Now you can, and it’s as easy as sending an email. If you can attach a picture to an email, you can instantly upload photos to the Brother Uploads gallery on the Media page.
We’ve updated the site with a new content management system, from aging phpWebsite to Exponent CMS. The major difference here is enhanced ease-of-use, allowing non-technical people to easily manage site content. Other benefits include increased flexibility, better permission managment and easier design modifications. Hit the read link for a list of other improvements.
